Mari is a figurative artist based in London and founder of the Hampstead Art Society, an artist-run organization that is providing a platform for British and international artists, centered around an annual group show.
She developed a love for art at a very young age, before studying portraiture, figure and landscape painting at the Hampstead School of Art, London, and the Florence Academy of Art, in Florence, Italy.
Her current work invokes memories or is inspired from the imagination, as well as still life studies and plain air painting.
Mari has exhibited with the Royal Society of British Artists at the Mall Galleries for over a number of years. In addition, she has shown works at the Burgh House and Hampstead Museum. Furthermore, she is the winner of an Artist of the Year, “Readers Choice Award”.
